I bought the X-ACTO Basic Knife Set (X5282) on Amazon at https://amzn.com/B00004Z2UB - It really irritated me that I had trouble pulling the knives out of the bottom container because the flimsy plastic insert clung to it & didn't have enough room for my finger or thumb to pull it out. This is a simple design made to fit right into the box without having to glue or sand anything. It doesn't grab onto the knives, so they're easily pulled out. You can use the same magnetic strip that's attached to the old insert. Gently pull it off to try and keep as much of the stickiness and padding as you can. I was able to reinsert it into the new design without having to use any glue.
