This is a breeze to assemble the x-axis cable chain. Simply print it in place, fold and snap it into use - no support or glue required. To get started, you'll need to swap out the end bolt of your extruder stepper. Additionally, there's a possibility that you may need to switch over to a longer cable for the extruder as well. To get the job done, you can print all parts at once using: 1) x_axis_cable_chain_ProB_once.stl This will give you everything you need to assemble the cable chain. Alternatively, if you want to create a custom setup, you can print individual components like: 2) strait_unit_155.stl 155mm long and straight as an arrow. 3) chain_adaptor_extruder_ProB.stl A chain end specifically designed for your extruder stepper - just be sure to swap out the bolt for one that's 38mm long. 4) chain_adaptor_x_stepper_ProB.stl Another essential piece of the puzzle, this chain end is perfect for connecting to your x-axis stepper. Just fold it 90 degrees and click into place. 5) cable_chain_PiP_8x2.stl This one's a game-changer - print in place cable chain with 8 links on two lines. I personally used 18 links, but you might find that 16 is more than enough to get the job done.
