X Gantry Spool Mount for Tronxy XY-2 Pro.

* UPDATE 03162021: This does NOT work on the BIQU B1 printer! When I first got my Tronxy XY-2 Pro, which I dislike very much, I made a lower frame mounted spool holder to make it lower profile than the upper gantry mounted holder allowed. It worked well enough for me, but I didn't like all the unspooled filament hanging in mid air while printing tall models. I made a X gantry mounted spool holder for my CR-10 clone, inspired by GRNTKRL's CR-10 xstepper spool holder. GRNTNKRL's model was great, but took too much horizontal space on my desk, so I used his hanging design and rotated the spool holder portion 90 degrees, relocating the spool to the rear of the printer. Having the spool move with the gantry keeps the filament feed at a constant that only changes slightly as the material on the spool diminishes. I didn't make immediate use of the work I'd already done on the other X stepper mounted holder because that awful ribbon cable on the side of the Tronxy would have to go through it, and I'd have to move my Tronxy forward to accommodate the added depth of the spool in the rear. It occurred to me yesterday that I could flip my old model around 180 degrees and bring the spool forward, rather than back. Additionally, the soft 90 degree turn from the spool to the filament runout sensor didn't require the additional plumbing that I put in the CR-10 version. DISREGARD quoted: "Meanwhile, my friend Eric recently purchased a BIQU B1 printer, which, for multiple reasons, is probably twice as good as this sad Tronxy. His B1 uses the same horizontal configuration for the filament runout sensor and extruder, and appears dimension-ally identical where this mount would secure. He agreed to try this out for me tomorrow if I posted it on thingiverse." * UPDATE 03132021: w1lp33 Went to the trouble of printing this to try on his B1 and just informed me that it ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT fit the gantry of the B1! I changed the title of this thing, removing the possibility of using it on the BIQU B1 printer. I apologize to anyone else who may have been misled. Thank you w1lp33 for bringing this to my attention. "I'm calling this "A work in progress" until he verifies it's viability on the B1." * Nope, NOT viable on the B1... I noticed that a handful of people criticized GRNTNKRL's model in his comment section, saying that the weight of a spool would somehow alter the Z from left to right, however, having run with this style holder for over a year with zero issues, I can say that such reasoning is not only wrong, but that on machines with only a single "left sided" lead screw, that the weight of the spool might even better balance the X gantry who's right side has nothing holding or lifting it up. In addition to the X spool holder, I'm including models for the tube and two nuts I use for my setup. There is one additional model I strongly recommend for use with this setup, which is a spool adapter that fits nicely over the tube and reduces friction and stops spool flopping as filament rolls off. The adapter I use is by jantzenday, in fact the tube model included here was cut to fit that particular adapter. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2387254 The small spool adapter and nut jantzenday posted has fit all of the spools I've bought, but he's got a large version for spools with gargantuan holes that will also fit this filament handling system.
