X Lite Stealth Crossfire Antenna Adapter

If you are assembling the Xlite with the Crossfire micro "stealth mod" then you might run into this issue. The directions ask you to cut the header pins on the Crossfire micro in order to make it shorter, but it doesnt mention that you can make it too short! If you make it too short the SMA connector wont squeeze between the boards of the Crossfire micro, and you will need to modify the case of the Xlite to properly get it to fit. First i cut out the original antenna mount from inside the radio - all the was left was a hole on the outside of the Xlite, no countersunk hole. Once I cleared away the excess plastic I was left with a flat surface where this adapter can be mounted/glued into the radio. Use the adapter to raise the antenna slightly higher, preventing you from needing to squeeze the antenna cable between the boards on the crossfire. Hope this helps someone!
