X-Tensioner Fix for Creality CR-10S

X-Tensioner Fix for Creality CR-10S

thingiverse

To improve precision of my Creality CR-10S printer, I decided to attach belt tensioners. There are several proposals for DIY parts here on Thingiverse, but I thought a metal one would be more stable. So I ordered one especially advertised for the CR-10, but what I got was not the expected "one-armed bandid" (mount only on front side) as shown in online shop, but a symmetric gadget to be mounted on back and front side of x-axis. Unfortunately that is not possible on a CR-10(S), because the x-axis is mounted on the back side. Instead of returning the part, I created my on fix for the back side, which would just fit into the 20x20 profile, but doesn't interfere with the axis mount. So the main force is still on the metal part, but the back side gives some relief for the little screws that keep front and back together. I created three different parts of different length and finally mounted the longest one (total length 48mm). Depending on your belt you might need the smaller ones
