X-UAV Mini Talon Parts v3

ABS and PLA are not stronger than properly glued plywood unless they are substantially thicker and heavier. So, since there is no need to design and print the wood center structure I have created this simple Gear Deck that fits the stock structure of the Mini Talon perfectly. There are four deck clips which are threaded for a 3mm x 10mm stand-off and a deck piece which has a pile of slots and holes for passing wires and/or wire ties. A complete set-up includes: 1x Gear_Deck_v1.stl 2x Gear_Deck_Clip_v2.stl 2x Gear_Deck_Clip_Mirror_v2.stl 4x M3 x 6mm Screws 4x 3mm Flat washers 4x M3 x 10mm nylon Stand-offs After all pieces are printed, cleaned up and the four clips tapped, assemble th deck in the plane without the stand-offs and keep the screws loose. Add a little glue to each clip where it contacts the wood then gently tighten all four screws making sure all pieces stay straight and square. Let the glue set-up then it is ready to load up with your gear and add the stan-offs! Note: If you desire a cushioned deck simply replace the nylon stand-offs with rubber anti-vibration stand-offs.
