x & y endstop bracket for Alunar 506. Fixes inaccurate "auto home".
thingiverse
I just assembled the Alunar 506, a budget Prusa clone that I picked up recently. As soon as I brought it back to its home location, I noticed it was nowhere near where it should be. It was off by about 10mm in both directions, which seemed like a pretty significant gap. These mounts are identical to the ones used on the factory version of this printer, with one notable exception: the holes for the switches have been moved 10mm from their original locations. The auto-home location is now situated 6.3mm beyond the edge in the X direction and 10.2mm past the edge in the Y direction - this change is designed to compensate for the leveling screw's position. This is a simple and permanent solution, provided that the manufacturing error is consistent across all units. To be on the safe side, it might be a good idea to measure how far away your extruder sits from the bed; if it's not within 8-12mm of the bed like mine was, you may want to consider printing an adjustable mount instead.
