This is version 3. It is a standalone or part of the 4 Controllers Stand The idea is to create 4 of these so 4 controllers can be kept on the table. Those stands should be stackable hence the locking at the back. Two plates (one on top and one on bottom) in the middle between the four stands should be able to hold these together. The model should be easily printable laying on its side to ensure internal stability. Version 2 required a well set up printer and slow printing speeds in order to print the midle part that during printing acted as supports. This was not the case in my print. This version has gone through quite radical change in the design of the middle. The front: The supporting edge was removed as it didn't do anything good after printing version 2 The size of the whole in the front has been increased to reduce material usage. The "rods" that actually hold the controller were reshaped a bit so that they need less supporting. The middle: It will now only have half of the volume. To make it stronger I made it a bit higher in that section. The design could be much simpler but I thought it will look cooler with all those angles. Since the design of a controller that I used from Sketchup's Warehouse was not exact, the length of the stand became too big. It's reduced with 1cm making it 1cm longer than version 1. The back: A pocket was made in the back of the thing so a handle could possibly fit in there at the end of this project.
