Xbull 4x4 Traction Board roof rack mount (FJ cruiser, 1.75" diameter roof rack)

This is a mount to help make getting the recovery boards off my roof rack easier. This is designed to be used with the X-bull mounting system (aka the plastic board and studs/nuts). The mount I designed here is meant to go on the outside of the roof rack, with the xbull mounting plate on the inboard side of the roof rack. Studs go through these, and then into the recovery boards. This is currently a work in progress and I will update with pictures and revisions as needed. The design was done in TinkerCAD, and I can post a version without the rail spot so you can create one for your specific application and whatever diameter tubing your roof rack is made of. V2: Shorter height to allow for tension between the back plate from xbull and the mount. Original version is taller and might not hold as well on roof rack. Also, I made V2 smaller overall (width) to reduce material used, as well as make it more cooperative on roof racks between parallel rails. Update: Included a version with no hole for the roof rack, so you can go in TinkerCAD or any other CAD program and make one that fits on your specific roof rack. I would suggest making the hole for the roof rack not fit entirely within the shape of the mount, as to provide tension between the front and back plate.
