XC - 13.1 updated version -23 mm extruder Barrels, improve white guidance, Internalized bearing slips, updated internal arch infrastructure, relocated hex bolt extruder mounting points. This is our X-Carriage prototype mark up for a project currently in the development stages. Carriage is a single uni-body design with inner reinforcement arches eliminating the need to use support to print. Basic Features: Dual Hot end Ports w/ 24 mm Hot end Barrels and 8 x 16 mm neck mounting rings. (sized for E3D EV6 Hot ends - using remote set direct drive extruders w/ bowden add on.).. Internal / isolated dynamic hot end cooling ports.w/ internally mounted 30 mm fans. Low profile / low drag body w/ integrated low friction nylon bearings. (you can use standard reprap bearing in place if necessary.) Wire management channels More to come... There are several other much more impressive features currently in development. Optional external fan mounts (single and dual) will be posted in the near future as well. If you have any ideas/suggestions, like the design, or hate the design, no matter your feeling we'd appreciate your feedback. Thanks RepRap Community! SearlsTech, Inc Print Settings Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Layer Height Infill: 0.25 infil (we use hexagon) Notes: We've printed in PLA & PETG w/ no issue. Recommend printing w/ PETG or PET+ @ 230C (bed - 70C) -Printed at 110 mm/s without issue. ABS Prints - Recommend enclosed printer or draping thick bath towel loosely over the printer opening to limit warping due to ambient air. ABS at 235C (Bed @ 105C - for 2-4 layers then reducing bed temps to 95C - reduces warping) Recommend Robo or Solutech ABS filament for best results.
