This is a re-creation of YouTube creator Bruce, aka XJet (RC Model Reviews and XJet channels), Outlaw250 RC model airplane. It is a 600 mm wing span, sub-250g electric powered foam airplane that is easy to build and fly. We've modified this plane as follows: - Larger fuselage to accommodate 3S 1300mAh battery - Straight cut lines only - Slide-on fuselage for easy access to all components Build and flight video on YouTube: https://youtu.be/hTCotetHbsw Material: - 5mm Polystyrene foam from the local craft shop - EMax 2204 2300KV miniquad motor - 5x4 propeller - 3x EMax ES9051 4.3g servos - 20A ESC (we maiden'ed with a 12A, but it overheated quickly) - 3S 1300mAh 25C Zippy Compact - 3M Blenderm tape for hinges - UHU Por - 3D printed motor and antenna mount CG is at 24..36 mm (according to WinLaengs4), we used 32mm AUW incl. battery: 244g UPDATE 2019-07: After feedback on YouTube and experimentation we made the following improvements: - The prop slot is now larger, increasing efficiency and reducing noise (thanks to Farmer Fpv on YouTube for pointing us to the bowtie prop slot!) - The KF step has been increased to 50% to make it work properly (thanks to the YouTube commenter who suggested this! Unfortunately I lost this comment in moderation) - The fuselage has been shrunk after confirming correct CG - The elevator has been angled slightly to reduce up-trim required
