This is a small replacement for a spring to be slipped over the cam and fixed posts for the Gunfighter "X" axis, to in essence lock movement of that axis. It is designed with a Gunfighter MK III as a reference, and fits inside that housing given its newer placement of circuit boards - I do not know if it would interfere with the MK I or MK II design. I anticipate something like this MIGHT be of interest with an angled "omnithrottle" adapter, for left hand sticks used primarily as throttle replacements, with or without application of some clutch force on the "Y" axis so it still moves but holds last position when user relaxes. It should be cam-choice independent, since springs are all the same length, so distance between the two pins should remain the same as well. Moving an axis results in this distance only ever increasing, so trying to fix it at a 'minimum' should lock. In my tests with my printer there is still the tiniest bit of wiggle possible - there's a tradeoff between being able to slip it over the pins and not leaving any residual hole diameter or 'stretchability' to truly have zero movement. The long slit thru the center is to give just enough give to get over the pins yet still not allow too much stretch - print with higher infill for more rigidity or comment if you think I should shrink that gap or eliminate it altogether. The text on the design should be visible as shown rightside up when installed properly. (It can go 'upside down' but you can't flip ends as the pins are not the same diameter.) The middle large hole is for needlenose plier access to help remove it without risking damage to your pins.
