**** UPDATE nov, 16th '20 *** minor improvments. **** UPDATE nov, 11th '20 *** At DynaMight1124's request, added new versions of the cases with a bigger tollerance (is this the correct terminology?). In other words: there is a bit more space between the case and the lid. This should make it easier for the lid to slide, close, open ... However, if your printer works accurate this should not be needed. The original files allready have a tollerance of around 0.2 at some parts. I did not alter the little button that locks the lid. If that still is too tight a little touch of sanding on that little "knob" will change things easely. Also, if the lid gets sloppy, this could cause the lid to open accidently .. and spilling all the "pills", ... Big thx, DynaMight1124, for your feedback! ********************* I wanted to make an easy-to-use case for suspension-bushings -also called "pills"- for my Xray XB4 and XB8. It helps to keep all the different bushings apart. Also, I wanted the box, or case as I called it, to be easely storable in my spare-box. Each case stores 10 pills of every size, 5 on front and back. I also made a new case for my friends that drive a Team Associated car, the B7.4, which uses a similar bushings-system but with a different size of pills. The lid, which closes well, will be the same. I printed all my prototypes and final version with PETG (prusament) which works fine as it is a bit more flexible then PLA, but I guess PLA will work just as good. You will need a decent tuned printer to avoid stringing with PETG. If not, I guess PLA will be a better choice for you. A raft is not needed, again, if you have very good first-layer-adhesion. If not, you might consider using a raft. Supports are NOT needed. I added text on the top of the lid. I always print a first few layers (in black) untill 0.6 mm and then switch to another color to let the text on the top of the lid (and bottom of the case) pop out. Any info,feedback... will be apreciated.
