I added a new bracket to hold a 4010 Blower Fan to cool down the xStation when in use.

This is only for the SCPH-55xx versions!

Fully compatible with LaserBear's SD Card Mount!

https://www.laserbear.net/products/ps1-xstation-sd-card-mount

Support them, they are awesome and do great work ;D

Hardware

I used a 12v 4010 3D Printer Blower fan, specifically this one (non-affiliate link): https://www.amazon.nl/gp/product/B08H5D6D1X (4-pack)

Install

The fan itself snap fits onto the legs of the Spacer, you can run your soldering iron across on top if you wanna keep it in place more securely.

Just put down the spacer first with the fan, keeping in mind the wiring for the fan, then install the xStation and cover as usual.

Wiring

I had soldered the fan directly to the 8v power supply lines (pin 1 = 8v, pin 2 = GND).

You can run the wires between the tiny gap from the bottom side of the PSU over to the top of the mainboard shielding (see 3rd image).
