It is designed to flush to the window. **Screws**: [M4x12](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07HVRDBL7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) **NOTE**: Thickness is 4mm. I think it could go down to 3mm as I feel 4mm is too thick.
