For some reason the Xtool RA2 chuck rotary does not come with a riser bracket to elevate the chuck to allow for clearance when engraving handled objects, like mugs. It was a pain having to flip the chuck around on the base plate, then elevating the rotary with something and then adding weight to the base plate to keep the rotary and your project from tipping over. I looked around and I wasn't able to find a bracket to accomplish what I wanted, so I designed one for the rotary that will elevated the chuck about 55mm, which should accommodate most handled products. I used ABS for my build to make it as rigid as possible to help mitigate any flex during rapid moves, but you can use whatever filament you choose for your build. I printed one with PETG and it seemed solid enough, but I ended up doing it in ABS. You can reuse the M3 screws that attach the rotary to the plate, to attach the rotary to the top of the bracket using a couple nuts. You will also need to get a couple M3 screws about 10-15mm in length to attach the bracket to the base plate. This should make engraving with the XTool RA2 easier and a lot faster, with less down time swapping things around. I hope you enjoy the bracket and you find it useful.
