"The XV-14 prototype battlesuit is an externally mounted and carried backpack equipped with 2 hardpoints for specially designed small-scale versions of common weaponry such as burst cannons and fusion blasters. It's additional manipulator arms are cumbersome to control for typical Shas'ui, and thus is only recommended to be deployed on the augmented D'Kaui. Each XV-14 comes standard with a microfusion reactor and advanced manipulator gauntlets. Due to it's symbiotic nature with the D'Kaui, they have widely become affectionately known as the "Goby". -Fio'Kahn, Or'kan head of fire cast engineering.
