Thanks to Zalsobrooks and thebak3 for their pioneering of this design. I made some minor modifications to the Zalsobrooks' fan shroud to provide more clearance between the shroud and the carriage. 2016/02/08 UPDATE: On closer inspection the fan is still hitting the carriage. I would not suggest using my fan shroud until I make some changes to it. 2016/02/25 UPDATE: I finally reworked my fan shroud to put the fan and duct at an angle to clear the print carriage. I don't usually print at the very back of my print bed. Since this shroud will stick out further than the stock fan did you may need to be careful if you're printing at the very back of the printer. Print Settings Printer: XYZ da Vinci 1.0 Pro Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm layers Infill: 25% Notes: I printed with the side the fan mounts to down on the print bed. I used a brim, but no supports and the print came out great. Post-Printing After printing, the parts did require a fair amount of cleaning/trimming until they fit/held the E3D heatsink securely. Disassembly of the stock extruder unit and assembly of this E3D V6 replacement are fairly straight-forward.
