Yesterday while investigating a sound in my daVinci Pro I found one of the tensioner pulleys in my printer dancing more than I thought it should. Today I took the machine apart to investigate. I did not see any sign of damage/wear, and the belt did not appear noticeably loose. Examining how the pulley carriage engaged and moved in its mount I cannot honestly figure our how the pulley ever didn't move around as much as it was moving around. Since I do not want the pulley to move around so much -- and to remove a wear point where the pulley's axle spins in the plastic carriage -- I took a cue from the X axis replacement tensioner (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:805215) created by Oscar Hierro and designed a replacement part that uses 3x6x2.5 bearings and prevents the up/down movement I was seeing from my pulley. NOTE: When I was inserting my pulley into this thing the thin parts broke off. This isn't affecting performance. I think my issue had to due with poor layer adhesion of the thin walls.
