XYZ Peg-in-hole Clearance Tolerance Fitting Test

XYZ Peg-in-hole Clearance Tolerance Fitting Test

If you are planning to design assemblies with tight fittings, it is good to know what your printer is capable of with a specific material or setting. These test pieces include a cube with holes in 3 directions so you can see what tolerance you need for a good fit. The numbers on the pegs represent the gap size in mm. I included a complete set you can print at once, or the separate pieces in case you need them. Do not scale, or the numbers won't be correct. I designed this set to test my Bambu Lab X1 and I can happily say the outcome surprised me: 0.10mm still enters smoothly in all 3 directions with a 0.16mm layer height. Enjoy, and please leave me some feedback if you want. Roy
