This is a redesign of the Y-Axis for the FLSUN prusa printer. It gets rid of all the acrylic parts in the Y-Axis and makes things sturdier. It also changes the orientation of the belt. The design consists of: Rod supports - Print four of these. Make sure you print them in the upright position. The rods snap into them and are secured with zip ties. Pulley mount - A simple fixed pulley mount. Belt Holder/tensioner - This is a remix of this design: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:548458 There are two parts to it. It has zip tie holes, but they don't work, just zip the belt to itself on the ends of it. Use the 40mm M3 screws that fasten the original belt holder for the tensioning screws. In the installation you will fasten the belt loosely and bring it up to tension using these screws. Its a bit of a pain to install, but after it is in there it works great. It helps if you have a long hex screwdriver. Nema17 motor mount - This is a remix of this design: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1612992 My version has various changes and also has a place to mount the limit switch. Note: Because the rods aren't the entire length of the printer's frame, you will have to move one of the beams on the printer. See photos. This will not change the range of movement.
