This solution preserves build volume on the z-axis and was created during a switch from a two-build-plate Prusa Mendel design to a single-build-plate approach. Credits go to Prusa's y-bushing design and Triffid Hunter's bar clamp for enabling shorter spacers. Simply print and place this item between your bed and Y-Bushings. If your heated bed's bottom gets hot, ABS printing is recommended for potential future issues prevention.
