Y-Z Frame Fixation for Anet A8
thingiverse
Z-Axis Stabilizer. Enhances overall printer rigidity, but is not required unless transporting the printer. Initially designed to correct Y-X-plane twist, it instead tilts the Z-axis when the printer is twisted due to the Y-axis's greater rigidity. This fix alone is insufficient - additional support will be needed. Similar design to https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1232870 To assemble this stabilizer, you'll need two 45cm long M8 threaded rods (cut from 1m rods using a Dremel), 8 M8 nuts, and 8 washers. The upper part is secured to the smooth z-rod with an M3 nut and screw.
