This model was created by the Moors & Valleys branch of the Young Archaeologists' Club, North Yorkshire. The YAC is a national club in the UK run by the Council for British Archaeology, and is open to any young people aged 8-16 who are passionate about heritage and archaeology. Last month we learned why photogrammetry can be highly valuable for archaeologists, particularly because it allows them to record features quickly and efficiently. Then we gave it a try, and these models showcase the impressive results. They demonstrate how well everyone grasped the concept. Now when we visit sites or come across archaeology in our daily lives, we can contribute to the record ourselves. Here is the successful processing stage showing the photo locations for members who requested to see it:
