The extruder gear on the M200 gets hot and when higher temps are used, with side panels or covering the printer, the filament is softened to a degree that extrusion stops because the gear has no grip anymore. Higher ambient temperatures can cause this issue as well. The filament can be pushed into the extruder by applying a little force, but it's not an ideal solution. The extrusion stop happened frequently for me when laying the raft, which is done by the M200 software in a non-optimal way. It also happens after changing to Hotend V2 nearly with every print, and sometimes during a print if temps are even higher. There is another variant of an active cooling mod on Thingiverse that solves this issue. I call mine the poor man's version because it works very well. The mod consists of a printed cover, an XHP-2 socket/jack extension for connecting the fan to the upper fan of the printer, and 4 sets of M3 screw/nut/washers. The fan used by me is a 40x40mm 12V type, which I actually ran at 15V but it worked fine. The original extruder cover is removed because I use a Z-Temp, and the mod is put in front of it. Getting the filament through the cover can be a bit tricky if it's not straight, but it's not a problem. The cover was printed flat with a 90-degree rotation at X, using Z-ABS, .19 layers, solid fill, and support light at 10 degrees. Update: The mod covered the Z-Temp that sits behind it and also the colored real-time temp status display of it. I did another print with NuNus transparent ABS, same ZCode, -20 degrees offset at Z-Temp, and now the cover of my mod carries the colored temp status of the Z-Temp.
