The Yaesu FTM400 VHF/UHF amateur radio transceiver has a separate control head that can be mounted away from the main body of the transceiver. It comes with a sheet metal stand that can be attached to a top surface, but the back of the control head has a protrusion for a GPS antenna that prevents it from being used to suspend it from above. To overcome this I decided to make a bracket that would attach to the underside of the mount point and attach to the back of the control head using an M5x8 screw. The screw hole is recessed so the thickness of the bracket at the screw hole is 2 mm. The top plate of the bracket has a couple of countersunk 3mm screw holes for mounting. This was printed using PLA without support (upside down) without problems on an Ender-3 ProB using 50% infill for strength, using the stock 0.4mm nozzle and standard quality.
