Yagi antenna element mount for 2020 extrusion boom

This bracket or mount is intended to hold 2 halves of an antenna element onto 2020 (20 mm x 20 mm) aluminum extrusion which is used as a boom for a Yagi-Uda beam antenna. The mount firmly holds onto 45 mm of the end of 1/4 inch (6.35 mm) OD tubing on each end of the mount (2 tubing pieces to comprise one antenna element). I designed this mount for prototyping Yagi antennae. My main goals were (1) firmly hold the tubing and (2) allow the mount position on the boom to be easily adjustable by sliding it. I originally intended this mount only for holding a dipole driven element on the boom while keeping it isolated from the boom. I think it could also be used to hold reflector and director elements. Note that I made this design for prototyping antennae. I do not expect it to be weatherproof for outdoor or permanent antenna installations.
