** Simple gearbox for the Sr Viper ** Works with a 540 or 380 size motor (pick the correct front and back cover for your size) * The bolt spacing for the 380 motor is ** 19mm ** ! (I can make a 16mm version on request.) **UPDATE March 2nd 2020:** A friend of mine made some remixes for the transmission which i took and remixed again for a better overall experience. Enclosed lower bearing, bolt near the top of the motor to keep the case closed with heavy motors and a reworked support. (PS.: the picture is old and not showing the new version, sorry) **UPDATE Dec 6 2020:** Added "Final_Gear_27T_24DP_Tighter.stl" which has a tighter tolerance for the Hex shaft. Use this if your printer is well calibrated or you want a tighter grip on the shaft. ** Non-printed parts required : ** * ** 32 pitch ** Pinion about 12-14 teeth * (1x) 10x15x4 bearing * (1x) 8x12x3.5 bearing * (4x) 3x8x4 bearings * (4x) M3x20 bolts * (3x) M3x16 bolts * (2x) M2.5x12 bolts (Trans. mount to chassis) * (Xx) M3 washers (might need them or not for the gears, check your clearances) ** Notes : ** * You can use your original final gear (the red one in the picture) instead of printing one, it will fit ! * DO NOT overtighten the bolts that go through the gears or you will lock up your gearbox. Use a plastic compatible grease or other suitable lubricant for the gears.
