Tangled filament: the bane of 3d printing. Did you know that 10,000 prints are ruined by tangled or twisted filament every second? But spool holders are large, unwieldy prints, impossible to run on a smaller printer. Until now! This spool holder can be printed so easily it's hard not to make one! All you need are two small prints, a few pieces of wooden dowel, and maybe some zip ties. Instructions Print two of these fittings, and acquire five small pieces of 3/8" wooden dowel (available at a craft store pre-cut, usually). Assemble as shown in the photo. As the description implies, this is designed to be a spool holder you can print even if you can't get any other print to succeed. So, the holes are designed to be a little loose to still work if your printer is a little miscalibrated. If that's the case, you can use zip ties around the dowels to hold them in place.
