WARNING: I've seen this model for sale on websites like ebay and etsy with no author attribution or link to this thing. Should you find any other, please let me know. I have nothing against people printing stuff from others, but they need to specify that it's not their work and that people can freely have it printed by someone else (or print it themselves) by downloading the original work from this page. Cactuar planter i made for a friend's birthday. I wanted it to pose more or less like in the videogame, so I've edited a model I found here (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:210344). I have then printed a pentagonal base and glued the cactuar on it. Filaments used: BQ Grass green for the planter and Colorfabb Corkfill for the base, I really love the wood effect The hole diameter is 5 centimeters, there are plenty of fat plants fitting nicely. The best would be a cactus planted on a cactuar, of course :) If you print this, make sure to hit the "I made one" button! Print Settings Printer: Prusa i3 R2 Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 20% Notes: I've printed the planter with the least amount of supports i could get. The left leg is cut so that once glued the planter's center of mass is projected inside the base area, but this limits the inclination to 25 degrees. The ideal printing orientation would be 45 degrees, to ensure the maximum possible print quality on every side, so in the slicer you need to rotate it by (45-25)=20 degrees to achieve this, then lift it up by 2-3 millimeters. Do not print the planter with the flat surface under the left leg sticking to the table. I've also added a 2 layer raft in order to achieve the best bed adhesion i could get as the whole piece is printed upon support structures. See the slicer screenshot for a visual representation of my print setup
