DESCRIPTION: Mine version of Core XY printer. The hotend is a low-cost j-head with bowden configuration and modified so the teflon tube can pass through the heatsink till the heater block. The heater block is covered by heat resistant silicone used for engines. The z axis has a simple threaded rod with a wobble and backlash suppression system. The z motor is mounted upside so the rod is stretched and not compressed. It has also an additional axial bearing, mounted between the coupling and the z_bearing_holder_up, in order to not sustain the z carriage weight. USE GOOD QUALITY BEARINGS AND RODS!!!! For extruder, RAMPS case and LCD frame see my other projects. Here you can download stl files and a step file which contains the complete extruder 3D model. I can send original Creo Parametric files if you want, just keep in mind that I'm using the 3.0 Academic version, so these files can't be opened using a commercial version.
