(Yet Another) Filament dust filter
thingiverse
I liked the new and improved filament dust filter from Thing #190118 by sneakypoo, but its initial design left room for improvement. Specifically, the latch on the lid matched the inside edge exactly to the curve of the outside edge of the flip side of the filter; when closed, it exerts zero pressure allowing the filter to spring open unexpectedly. In this revised version, a slight modification bends the latch into place ensuring a tight seal every time. Instructions Simply print this updated dust filter in one seamless piece, mirroring the original Thing #190118 design exactly. Given its constant under-latch pressure, it's recommended to use a strong and durable filament like ABS or PET when printing.
