Yet another way to attach paper magnetically to your fridge. Why did I make one of my own and not use one of the many existing ones? Mainly because they all dictate the size of paper you need to use and I wanted to be able to change the length of paper willy-nilly.

Things you'll need apart from the printed parts:

5 neodymium magnets, rectangular 10x20x2mm — like these for example

A till roll, 76x76mm. I used these. Make sure you don't get thermal or 2ply rolls. And to save you a search, 76mm is three inches.

I chose that size of magnet for the very Technical reason that I had some of them lying around. The gaps for them are very tight, and I had to press them in using pliers. You want plenty of magnetic strength because you'll be pulling quite hard to tear the paper off.

The three stl files are in the right orientation to print. I'd recommend supporting the bottom of the slot in the main holder. You'll see from my photos that the top of the holder broke off during the print process, and it hasn't mattered at all.

The axle is best printed upright so that it's properly round, and that means that bed adhesion will be challenging. I used a brim, and a z-hop and that worked. You might find that printing in vase mode works instead of the z-hop.

Let me know if you'd love to make this model but can only get hold of magnets or till rolls in different sizes. I'm happy to add other sizes if it's helpful.
