I've got an interesting project brewing. It all started when I stumbled upon a video and some inspiration from Heise.de's Make Magazine. I'll be sharing the parts list: Arduino Nano, ULN2803 driver, RGB stripe, Hall effect sensor TLE4905L with a 3x2mm neodym magnet for syncing purposes, an old CD-ROM drive motor, RTC module with DS1307. Later, on December 23rd, I added the base case plans for laser cutting (using 3mm material). My Print Settings include no rafting, no supports, and a resolution of 0.1mm. The infill is set to 30%. I've printed it in PLA already and had it bound to a laser-cut wooden panel. This is a nice addition: you can use old software or audio discs with the same diameter (120mm). It all began when files were constructed in Sketchup.
