this is a plug for the yeti lids that as far as i know do not have plugs and im tired of spilling my drink. this has not been printed, tested or properly measured so it will need some refining but it should be close to the right dimensions. version 2 is uploaded. due to some useful feedback i have made some adjustments to the stl file. Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator (5th Generation) Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: high Infill: 10% Notes: Not yet tested. Dimensions are and should be in inches. Objects total length is just over 3 inches. Post-Printing post print, the part was about an 1/8 of an inch short. everything else went smoothly. the mouth hole plug did have a slight leak but when air hole is plugged no water spilled out for about a minute. needs slight adjustments and those will be made in the future. the plan is to make this a pattern to eventually pour rummer or some other less stiff material. Standards NGSS CCSS Overview and Background I thought of making this because i constantly spill my drink which happens to be a yeti. Lesson Plan and Activity created the knob first to plug the air hole. then made the length piece. then made the plug for the drinking area. Materials Needed just a yeti rambler lid. and possibly the entire yeti itself.
