NOTED ISSUE: If you put together two or more cells and want to put the next piece in a corner position where it would have to mesh with two other cells, then you will find that you are unable to do so due to the face piece blocking you. The solution for this if you have already printed extra cells is to cut off the male dovetail from the new cell and go with only one attachment point, if you haven't, then I've uploaded a modified version that should correct these issues and still mesh with the old cells (with the large dovetail). The fixed, fully compatible version is listed under files as "REV1". I needed an interesting, expandable shelf set for my yoyo collection, so I came up with this. With these you can make a yoyo hive and can mix and match colors and shapes they'll also work for other small items and trinkets, or can be set up on their side to act as office supply holders. Should fit any yoyo with a diameter of 56mm or less (You might be able to squeeze in a 57mm yoyo) and a width of less than 65mm. The 2mm dovetail attachments should work fine for desktop use, if weight is a concern then a larger, 3mm dovetail version is also here, so that should be a good deal stronger if you end up going for a wall mount application. Two triplex models (one with large dovetails and one with the originals) are also up here, they should be useful if you're planning on doing larger clusters. Unless you need to use something slimmer or have a well tuned printer, I recommend using the large dovetail version. It prints cleaner and is easier to fit together. If you plan on mixing PLA and ABS cells for a multicolor hive, then print your ABS cells at a scale of 1.01 to compensate for material shrinkage.
