This is a model of the Yugoslavian conversion of M3a3 tanks, supplied to them in 1944 by the British. Although considered a "partisan" force, the Yugoslavian resistance were operating as a full fledged army at that point, and fielded two full armoured brigades. They were very resourceful and mounted both pak 40s and 20mm Flak 38 Flakvierling on damaged M3a3s. Please see http://www.tanks-encyclopedia.com/light-tank-m3a3-20mm-flak-38-flakvierling/ post for some background I started with the excellent accredited M3a3 model, and worked up the turret. there is no hull MG on the print; i feared it would be too fragile, so I left a recess in the hull and used a small bit of paper clip glued into the recess to represent the Browning MG barrel. hopefully the gurus of Warlord Games will recognize the wargaming potential of the Balkans and give the proper recognition of this theatre.
