30th Oct 2019 - Please stop stealing my design's for commercial purposes. 14th Oct 2016 - Been flying with 3 of my own packs and I'm very happy with the performance. Battery should be secured into the case. I'lll look at the model with holes in it and see when I can think of. I will also upload a model without any cut-outs so people can do there own cutouts like @kraftor80 did. 29th Sep 2016 - Used smaller holes at the terminal end to prevent balance plug falling out of the hole and causing a jam.Rounder sides tested in a print. Very happy with results. 26th Sep 2016 - Rounder sides. Just a little update. Model 07 has rounder sides. Seems to fit in a little better. 9th Sep 2016 - New versions ! I have updated this model. The original one had the locking pin a little out. This one locks even better. Made the battery easier to grip and shortened the locking pin si it's not too hard to remove but still keeps the battery in firm. Designed to use 2 dean's plugs and a Multistar 4S 8000mAh battery. It can take other's if they fit. With my print settings the Holes version was 26 grams and the Solid side version was 42 grams. *Print in ABS or another medium that is good at hot temperatures. Don't use PLA. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OcbOo-fLCcU Print Settings Printer: Tarantula Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Post-Printing Assembly: For a permanent battery assembly. Remove unneeded pins from dean's. Test fit Dean's into 3D model. Insert battery leads through holes for deans in 3D print. Solder deans to the lead's. Double check your polarity... Glue dean's into 3D model. Make sure it's flush. Slide battery into 3D print. Glue of doublesided tape if needed. Tuck 4S balance lead into the 3D housing to keep it out of the way.
