I found the design from Tech2C very useful and easy to install. But my printer still has some trouble with long and thin parts, so I made a shorter version. I also added chamfer on the nut top in order to fit easier. I also made the nut a little bit taller. Comments and critics are welcome. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa I3 Metal Frame Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 40% 3D HoneyComb Notes: Printed in ABS Post-Printing BOM 2 x Parts 4 x M5 nuts 2 x Spring Some ball bearing grease (optional) Assembly Place a nut on the Rod Place the spring Place the other nut so the spring is held between the nuts Put some grease over the spring Insert the nuts on the printed part I recommend to put grease on between the two nuts, so it will lubricate the rod as it travels.
