Inspired by TwoTimes awesome wobble arrester, http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2151 You will need to purchase the vertical rails and bushings listed in the wobble arrester materials list. The design captures the Z-axis nut, have a smooth base which can slide smoothly under the acrylic and have a vertical pin to prevent rotation. it is all very simple and makes a huge difference in the smoothness of your prints because it removes the wobble from the rotating z-shafts. I also printed a simple triangle to capture the z-rails, but the ones in the wobble arrester is far cooler. Instructions Print 4 pieces. cut a 7mm pin for each and mount as shown in the pictures. Pick up the Z-acrylic, remove the wood nut-stops Then place one of the prints over each nut, with the pin facing out, pin UP naturally. Replace the Z-acrylic and start printing smoother stuff. AGAIN - go to http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2151 for the cool vertical rail mounts.!
