z-Axis for 3D printer - CorEssentials

This is the belt-driven z-axis assembly of my CorEssentials project. This is just an abstract of the whole project for people who just want to use a belt driven z-axis in there project. In my built I used a 16T pulley on the Motor for z-Axis and a 188mm GT2 glosed loop belt to connect it to the 80T pulley. This will give you a 5:1 ratio (500 steps/mm at 16 µ-steps with 1.8° stepper). To built 1 z-Drive unit you will need: 1 Nema 17 Stepper 2 GT2 20T Pulley, 5mm bore 1 GT2 16T Pulley, 5mm bore 1 GT2 16T Toothed Idler, 3mm bore 1 d=3mm, L=15mm rod (for z-Idler) 1 d=5mm, L=40mm rod (for z-Drive) 1 GT2 closed loop belt (L=188mm) 2 M5x6 Threaded inserts You can find the most recent files on the GITHUB-page: https://github.com/MacNite/CorEssentials The 80T pulley is from the Voron - you can find out more about the Voron here.https://github.com/VoronDesign/Voron-2
