A self designed part to improve the buitin mecanism to link the Z axis to the rod on sidewinders X1. It can probably works on others Artillery printers, but not tested. Designed to replace the lead screw and the support, the thread is printed. Benefit : - printed thread, no noise, no mechanical clearence, no backlash - The screw is articulated and can follow the rod strain - replace the too loose builtin support - G34 friendly It works as expected since a few months on my printer. Don't be afraid to use platic for the lead screw, no issue with this. Intructions: Print it as is, 2 times, no support required, Manipulate the lead screw until it move freely on both axis. scew it on the rod, it can be difficult, take your time Use the 4 artillery screws to attach the part to the Z axis. If possible, add some silicone grease on the rod Enjoy Please if you print it, give me your feedback and publish your makes.
