This is a revised take on item #64254 courtesy of Stefaan Ponnet. I simply altered how the endstop attaches itself, bringing it in line with Makerbot's mechanical design specifications. Makerbot's style has an LED that illuminates when the switch activates, making calibration and leveling of the heatbed far simpler to manage. The holder clamps onto the motor side Z-axis 8mm smooth rod. This redesign works seamlessly with any Prusa i3 variant - including the P3Steel showcased here. To modify or adapt this model further, access the provided OpenSCAD source code and don't forget to give Stefaan his proper credit for originating this piece. Printed in PLA at 35% infill, it requires a 20mm M3 bolt and nut to secure the smooth rod, along with two more of each for attaching the Makerbot-style mechanical endstop PCB.
