Z-Axis Replacement for CTC, Flashforge, Replicator with integrated spacer
thingiverse
This file contains the replacement parts for the z-axis, complete with a spacer to ensure accurate installation of the linear slides. It simplifies the installation process by reducing the number of required screws and makes adjustments to the z-axis more straightforward. Hopefully, this modification will resolve issues related to wobbling and difficulties with the z-axis. Instructions Installation: Print all three replacement parts in 100% scale. Then remove the top and bottom original components from the linear slides and motor mount of the z-axis. Install the lower component first, carefully guiding the linear slides through their designated holes. Secure the four screws that hold the stepper motor (leave some slack) on top of the spacer attached to the lower part. Now place the upper component without overtightening it either. Use a ruler to determine the precise center alignment between both components within the frame's side sections. Power on your printer, activate the Jog Mode and move the z-axis bed down until the stepper motor centers itself naturally. Finally, adjust and tighten all screws.
