Z Axis Return Spring
thingiverse
I built this spring to keep the Z Axis from falling onto the motor of my MakerGear M2 printer. Additionally, the placement of the spring lifts some weight off the Z Axis screw and support rods by reducing the bed/motor load. Instructions Trying to print without adhesive failed - both ends curled up. I then added a raft to the G-code, which printed successfully. If your adhesives are correctly set up, you might not need to use a raft.
