A Z-axis touch plate with a TPU 'spring', for a forgiving plate. Buy a Chinese touch plate, like the link at the bottom. Remove the aluminium disc, drop it into this holder. Wire it, insert the TPU 'spring'. I've designed it to be permanently fixed to my bed. It rests on the base, with a cutout in my spoilboard, so it's just below the surface (allows for some skimming). Wire it to suit your machine. I haven't found a way to get the Duet/ooznest software to calibrate it, so at the moment, it's useless. A good idea let down by my ineptitude.
