A better way to tweak the z endstop on the prusa i3. I designed this for the reprapdiscount mechanical endstop. I made a space for the solders so they won't annoy you.   To use it on your printer, you need to mount the pieces on the left Z-axis and on the X-axis NEMA17 stepper drivers. you may need additionnal and/or longer screws, + a spring and a nut. It fits perfectly my prusa mendel i3 rework. It's much easier to adjust the distance between the nozzle and the plate with this. Solidworks Source files are available in the downloads. Feel free to improve it. Instructions Printed fine in PLA with 200µm precision, without support. Instructions : •Screw the ZendstopMovingpart at the bottom of the X-axis NEMA17 using two longer screws. •Then, screw FIRST the endstop on the ZendstopHolder, •And screw the piece on the printer (it's easier in this order) •Put a screw in the hole with a spring, and put a nut under the piece. •Proceed to your adjustments. Make sure your screw is long enough to hit the endstop, when you approximately home the Z-axis for the first time after the installation...
