The threaded rods on a lot of cheaper printers are slightly bent, this creates a banding pattern on the print because the carriage wobbles. This design counters this by decoupling the carriage and the threaded rod. Based on this design: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1431036 In contrast, my design helps wobble in both the x and the y direction. The instructions are the same as for that one, put a nut in the print at the bottom and have it on the threaded rod. It then will support the x carriage, which is now no longer attached in a fixed way to the bent threaded rod. I recommend printing without supports as they would be hard to remove from the center nut area. Print Settings Printer Brand: Prusa Printer: Prusa Clone Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 20% Notes: A somewhat higher infill might be good because the full weight of the carriage is resting on the print.
