ZARGES (GMBH) K470 standard range of Aluminium cases with 1 , 3 or 5 Ribbed side reinforcement variety (models #40678, 40837, 40839, 40843, 40580, 40875, 40876). Manufacturer can provide special sizes on request using the common fittings, fasteners & standard fabrication. The standard latch for padlock integration has been used on this range of models. This model series was produced for documentation for packing & inventories as utilized with various tools & spares assets & also for specifying on future requirements.LIKES are always appreciated. If you download, please press the” LIKE” Button to do the right thingThese containers have been produced from the 1950’s for use as expedition cases and used across a variety of industrial sectors. They were the forerunners to Pelican cases and are still in extensive use today. Due to their lightweight design, they are perfect for transit cases for air transport of equipment. The K470 standard are classed as IP 54 but also have upgrade versions that meet UN containment classification for containing hazardous substance and have options for IP65 or IP67 class rating. I have included in the Property Tab in Configurations section information from manufacturer ( Inside~LWH, Outside ~ LWH, Volume Liters, Weight Kg, Approved capacity Kg, Model Number) for inclusion in BOM’s.This is the 2nd set (7 configurations) of models in the complete K470 series (25 sizes in all). All remaining models in the series will be in other GRABCAD library files (set for 0 ribbed type, set for 2&4 ribbed type). The model is used for visual reference only with unknown but within reasonable tolerances. Sizing has been determined from physically checking & modelling case #40565 and calculating dimensions against manufactures listed product sizes in this range. Model produced with Limit Angle MATES for manual movement of Lid or securing Latch within range as well as configurations for handles in the UP or DOWN position.
