Great project this Easter !!! However to improve the accuracy, I modified the 2 parts supporting the pen/pencil/felt pen. A. on the PEN_HOLDER, I added 2 small bearings (https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/32492575669.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.27426c373wblpI) on the PEN_HOLDER, B. on the PEN_HOLDER, I changed the location of the pen by replacing the half-moon housing with a triangular opening, C. on the VERTICAL_ARM, I filled the holes for an M3x30 screw, drilled to 2.4mm, then tapped M3 to accommodate 2 grub screws that center the bearings of the PEN_HOLDER ensuring a safe and free pivoting, D. on VERTICAL_ARM, I reduced the hole diameter for the stepper axis to 5.05 mm. All these modifications have totally eliminated the play between the moving parts of the pen stepper. In order to easily find a reference point, I added a Y endstop simply screwed on the main chassis (see pictures).
